As a Customer Support Representative, you will play a key role in evaluating aeronautical products, planning production activities, and preparing quotations for repairs, overhauls, and the supply of new and used components. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound commercial judgement, and the ability to use relevant systems and software to identify cost-effective solutions for customers while supporting the restoration of engines, modules, and components to original specifications.
Working closely with an industry-leading team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality outcomes across customer support and operational planning activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare quotations for internal and external customers for exchange items.
- Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure core assets are returned within required timeframes.
- Work with the Operations Manager, Rolls-Royce to coordinate the induction and inspection of returned core assets and determine serviceability and repair requirements.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager, Rolls-Royce to ensure assets are planned for repair and assembly before being returned to stock.
- Monitor exchange asset stock levels to maintain appropriate inventory availability.
- Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to review and update exchange pricing annually.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by your team leader from time to time.
About your new team
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will join a dedicated customer support team at APA’s Chapman Place facility. We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time team member to work day shift hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7:00 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays, offering excellent work-life balance with a 2.5-day weekend each week.

The ideal candidate will bring the following experience and capabilities:
- Relevant technical qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in an aviation maintenance environment; experience with Rolls-Royce M250 and RR300 gas turbine engines will be highly regarded.
- Strong technical report reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience using maintenance management and planning systems such as Pentagon, Wrike, or equivalent platforms.
- Well-developed financial and operational quoting skills.
- High-level communication and computer literacy skills.
